When the SAS Workspace server is configured to use the Grid algorithm, you might see the following errors in the SAS Object Spawner log (when the IOM.LoadBalancing logger is set to trace):
ERROR [00000077] sasdemo@XXXXX - PROVIDER(Platform): Bad arguments ERROR [00000077] sasdemo@XXXXX - PROVIDER(Platform): No matching job found DEBUG [00000077] lev5sasdemo@ORIGINENERGY - Grid returns host list:
When these errors occur, validation of the SAS Workspace server fails.
The errors above indicate that a GRIDSVC_GETHOSTS call was made and no host names were returned. The host names are not returned because a newer version of the gridlsf module returns the IP address fields of the hosts.
You can either work around the problem or download a hot fix.
Under Windows, you can work around this problem by removing the LSF_FULL_VERSION environment variable. When you remove the environment variable, the code loads the 6.2 version of gridlsf, which does not use the IP address field.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
